As for my kids? I've always wondered. I planned to wait for a dæmon book and leave it accidentally-on-purpose somewhere around the house.
Thank you, Cat. So, a daemon book? Assumably it would contain daemon analyses, daemon contact, daemon grammar/glossary (Even if not everyone uses it. Anyway, things like 'Cieday' would be important.), general daemon facts (My daemon had to remind me of that one). Anything else?

Ooh ooh! Once my book is published I want to write something like that, a daemon-book! Of course, I didn't want to say anything until I got this book out of the way, but I want all of you to help so we'd all be doing it together! I know we all mentioned something like this ages ago but if my book is published, we can use my connections and writing skills, plus all the other writers in here, illustrations and activities and analysis by more creative members! Sorry I'm getting hyped now, I'm also thinking that the daemons who are writers can submit a chapter or two?

-Bow-. I also hope to publish a book, and already have the connections you speak of. Toff. Shush, you! Now, I doubt it will be one person's brainchild. Not mine, nor yours, nor Okibi's. I also like all of your ideas. Does anyone else have any? Whisper

I don't want to spoil you idea, but maybe you'll have to pay some copyright, because the daemon thing was first written by Pullman. But if you write the book, I promise to buy it ;D

Well, we could change the name, that might help... since there have been other concepts similar to dæmons.

Yeah we could easily call it daimon, like Socrates! And your right about it not being one person's work, we'd have to have a collective pseudonym

Novus diluculo. It's latin for the new dawn. The dawn of the day of daemons and daemians!

I like the concept of a daemon book. After all, daemons aren't just Phillip Pullman's idea... Though in this form they kind of are.

:-) ISn't that one of Okibi's life goals and the sort? I remember her saying that after she gets enough research done to prove the theory so taht it doesn't sound liek it was made-up by a bunch of 15 year olds that she would.

We had an extremelly similar discussion about "the Daemon/Daimon book" a while back. I still think its an awesome idea. And calling them daimons would be a lot safer to copyright laws.......still good idea though! Can someone track down that thread anywhere?
