Ciao. We're the scaled-up version of Jory and Mew, except we're English/Irish, not called Jory and Mew (Mairead- me, and Shal(imar) - daemon), my daemon's ring tailed lemur, we're kind of older, we can't draw, and we don't hate oranges quite so much. Anything you'd care to add, Jaws? xD I'm uglier and my teeth are pointier :3 Plus I'm insane in a few different aspects, cha. Oh -- and I can't draw primates (namely lemurs and/or humans) NEARLY so well as Mair :3 Also, I have an air plant on my desk. I call it Teresa.

*looks at Li* ...peel skin first. ... 8O -runs away- I've never had a blood orange... or even heard of one. Those look awesome, though... wonder where/if I can get one.

They can talk about oranges if they want...it's not like you have to read it.

*Has mental image of Spi sitting looking shifty and holding a peelong knife* Scary stuff xD XD I was doing that earlier this morning. Forum psychicness strikes again! Only I was clearing out my brother's "other" draw and it was full of these huge kitchen knives...at 6 in the morning. I get random urges to clean his flat whilst waking for people to wake up. Makes me feel useful :3 Blood oranges are delish and we tend to get them at our local fruit stores... but it varies depending on if they're in season or not. *stares at Li running away*....oranges run? Must be a red 'un! I wait until it comes back to roost in it's tree. :3 Yum, bloody. Sontaz &/or Starwing- of topicness is good in intro threads, because they don't tend to progress much further after a welcome post. The varying subject makes it easier for you to keep chatting and get used to the members because it's a thread you've been in since the beginning. Do you like blood oranges? Have you tried one before? Do you find peeling orange skin irksome because the juice of the skin squirts out onto your hands making them sticky? ^.~ Fruit is a most riveting subject. I like papayas.

I don't think our local supermarkets have blood oranges at all... are they some foreign-ish thing? And when are they in season?
We do have pomegranates, though. Which are a pain to eat and not terribly substantial, but very yummy.

Which are a pain to eat and not terribly substantial, but very yummy. They only come from Italy, Spain and a few other places. And I agree, pomegranates are yummy.

I've seen blood oranges here a couple times, but have never yet had the opportunity to try one, alas. I don't like oranges as much as other fruits, really, just because you have to peel them and I'm lazy. (But I like mangoes and pineapples, so that arguement doesn't make any sense. >.>) Dried mangoes are teh awesomeness.
