Hey, I don't post much, so I'm gonna get this over with. What do you do when your uhmans (females, naturally) have PMS? I just wondered because last night Brooke had really bad cramps and...I couldn't do anything because she gets all snarly when she feels like that- all curled up in the fetal position with chills. It made me feel sad and helpless. :-( any advice?

Pocket: xD Cat gets pretty snarly too. Whenever she has bad cramps, I turn into a cat and curl up on her stomach. I'll never know why, but it helps. ^^; Plus, I just be my usual loving and cuddly self. I think I'm the only person Cat doesn't snap at when PMSing, and sometimes she does anyway. xD Just, you know, be a dæmon. Cuddle her. Be cute and loving. ^^ You're a dog-dæmon, ain't ya? You should do fine. =)

Darkett: I'd never really thought about that before. I'll try to see what I can do next time. Raven usually just stuffs down the Advil (painkiller), though. Wimp. *pokes* PS: I agree that it's hard to cuddle as a bird. :\

Ali gets real b---y too (ALI: I DO NOT!!!!! ) See? Anyways, she usually justs busts out the Advil, brownies, and kleenex, and she's all set to go. I'd love to ACTUALLY cuddle her up tho......but cheek-rubbing's as good as its going to get ;D

Rho: Heh. Just recently Hannah has started getting really bad cramps. Sometimes she can't walk they hurt so bad. (which I hope doesn't happen much more, because I don't think it's healthy...But I'm not sure ) I usually just rub on her cheek......or any other place I can reach. Or I bite her stomach. Seemingly biting helps comfort her. I don't know why...biting helps with a lot. Don't ask why...Because I would be unable to answer. XP

Zed gets really... uh, yeah, snarly would be a good word for it XD. I just let her rant at me for a while - wei both know she doesn't mean it and I'll stand there with one eyebrow raised and ask, "You finished yet?" When she gets bad cramps she usually goes to bed and I'll lie beside her in the form of a big black dog. That shape seems to symbolise protection and guardianship to us, so it makes her feel safer and less hysterically volatile. I rest my head on her shoulder and let her be.

Vicky was okay for a long time, the past few years she's become more... emotional, each time. No cramps, though. She just started taking birth control pills, and that helps a lot, so far. I hope it continues.

When it really hurts and I also feel the pain (what's allways) I'm allways on her shoulder, rubbing my face on her cheek. And when we're alone, I go to her lap so we can hug each other. But that's usually the first day. Then, its calmer.

Tracy gets very painful cramps: so bad that she sometimes throws up... I try my best to comfort her by curling up on her stomach...
Tracy: But the best painkillers for me are usually Ibuprofen and chocolate! Oh, and a heat pad feels good too...
Hey, a non-corporeal dæmon can only offer but so much! But yeah, I can also offer her emotional support too when she gets all sensitive and crap.... (which is really WEIRD for her...)

Yeah, the throwing up is never good. -_-; The cramps get worse and worse,too. *sigh* We just stock up on tylenol or something and curl up in bed. Chick-movies help,too. :-) I was just wondering because it's been on my mind lately. -.-;

Well Zoe just gets really, really irritated before her period and to be honest, I find it funny. Not very sympathetic but it puts things in perspective for her and she can laugh about it. I lay close at her back when she curls up with a hot water bottle and just nuzzle her. Cramps are painful - ouch!

Rano n Hannah--don't worry, I think that cramps hurting so bad your human can't walk are normal. At least I think so....theyr'e really stinky though. Sometimes it takes a good long rant or a good long cry with lots of chocolate and ibprofen to feel better.
