She likes the newer techno-esque feel that most of the newer alternative rock has (HotHotHeat,the Killers,Incubus),whereas I prefer things with a defined guitar sound like The Goo Goo Dolls, Coldplay,and ,of late, The Eagles (she just got the greatest hits volume 1). Also,I'm very partial to quite a few country songs that she despises. No longer,

I've never had a chance to listen to music. I don't know what I like. He doesn't like any, so doesn't listen to any, which means that I don't either. I'd like to, though. I guess I'll have to pester him until he puts some music on for me to listen to.

Music is a constant for us, and part of the reason why the CD player in her stereo died less than a week after the speakers on her computer stopped working. Hey, it was old...I didn't know using it constantly was going to make it break! It's not so bad, though, since it means we spend more time listening to the local rock stations. They don't play quite as much of the classics as I'd like, but it's still pretty good. Yumi likes more recent, alt-rock sort of things, along with Japanese music. Yay, jrock and jpop! ^^ Would you mind not interrupting me? Okay, okay... As I was about to say before that little outburst, we listen to some of everything else, except for most of the rap that comes on the radio. She can put up with it, but I'd rather not. Certain tracks are fine, but as a whole, it's not that great.

Sayuri loves alternate rock, Japanese pop and country. I love listening to Mozart, and we have several songs we'll play on repeat forever... she can't sing as well as I can.
Oi!
Just telling the truth, m'love. Anyway... we share most of our tastes in music. She will listen to happier, more upbeat songs, while I listen to things that are more depressing. Sayuri once told me that a Mozart peice I was listening to was a soundtrack to cut your wrists to. -_-;

I've got a chance to listen to some music, and I'd say anything soft and sweet-sounding.

Yeah, I love the same music as Toni, although I prefer listening to happier songs than the depressing ones that Toni sometimes sets to repeat -_-;

Well, I have similar interests to Aries, but our priorities are different. Like -
Let me say this. ;P Okay, well, Jube seems to love Alexisonfire (and to those who know the tracks on their first CD, although I doubt many do: this shoulda been obvious. ;P) but is only okay with bands that are definately my favourite. (AKA Billy and the Lost Boys, the Academy Is..., Senses Fail...) Even though Alexisonfire is a great band, they're not my favourite band anymore.
...and you take over in a dæmons only section. How typical. Anyways, yeah, she summed it up. Different priorities, almost same bands.

Like classical, hate rap. Rap is for sissies.Agreed. On the rap part. ^^ listens to anything, really. Yellowcard, Coldplay, random artists... basically anything that's stuck in her head. Though it gets particularly annoying when she starts singing "Bye Bye Miss American Pie" in the shower as well as the YMCA

Zoe likes rock music, especially female-fronted. Girl power and all that I'm more of a classical music lover myself, though I do like Evanescence and Good Charlotte like Zoe. So I have very strange tastes

I prefer calm music, but Angus is trying to get me to listen to some rock. I rather like Linkin Park, for one.
And she gets me to listen to calm songs. I remember somone had a signiature that said "I am at one with my duality." Those are the words I live by. ;D

Hannah likes rock, and new age, and classical. As in, /classical/ classical. Like Beethoven and Mozart. Bach. She only knows the names of two of Beethoven's songs, and the rest she just knows how they go. She used to know because her grandmother would play it all the time and she would tell her who played it and what the name of the song is. When she was 3 she knew what Beethoven's 9th was. And when she heard it one day she said what it was. And her mom looked at her grandmother and said 'I never thought I'd have a daughter that knew what Beethoven's 9th was.' ^^ Tha's my girl. =D
