Pep? I don't don't - okay no point trying to deny it. I'm a sucker for the snow, I go wild. I actually act like a dog which is totally humiliating but only Zoe can see me and she likes me being lighthearted. Zoe can be the same too, really serious one minute and acting like a kid the next. Just part of the wonderful quirks that are us ^^Yeah but it's sooo cute!. He actually WAGS his tail! I can't believe you just said that. You suck. No more Broken duets for you!Damn

One of my 's friends is FMA obsessed too, and she got me interested in the series...but since my computer speakers are busted, and I'm running out of hard drive space from all the other fansubs I've downloaded, I didn't take the time to download the episodes before the series got licensed. That's okay, though...it's just something else to go on the list of "anime series that I will eventually purchase, once I can afford to". (Why are the DVDs so expensive? *sigh*) ... And I'm a little too old to have Pokemon posters mixed in with the ones from other series, too... *snorts* You say that like you weren't playing the game this morning.u_u;;; *coughs and changes the subject* ::)What is it with humans and Pokemon?! It's like some kind of brain-wash show that you can never escape even if you stop watching it! Spiral still plays the GBA Pokemon games!*waves around frying pan* Alright, I won't talk about your strange childish habits...I can't wait for FMA to come out on DVD, did you know there was a movie too? I wish I could download fansubs, but I am sadly restricted to dial-up -_- Quote from shirt- "Anime? Cocaine is cheaper!" *sigh* sometimes I want to marry a rich man to support my obsessions -_-;

I think there had to have been some kind of subliminal messages in that show. Yumi can flat out say, "I really shouldn't still like playing this..." and then sit down and play the games. I don't understand what the big deal is.What? It's fun! .....okay, so I don't know why, but it's fun! Definitely brainwashing...*pointedly ignores that* Yeah, anime is definitely an expensive habit. I wish people would buy more DVDs for me, and usually they'll agree to get some for gifts...and then they come back and something like the following happens. Gift-Giver: Hey, about that DVD you asked me to get for you...do you know those things cost 25 bucks each?! Me: Yup, I know. They always cost that much. G-G: *stares at her like she's insane* You spend that much on each of those things? Me: Yeah...and that's why I don't have many. At least the comics are a little cheaper... G-G: How much is that? Me: Oh, about ten or twelve dollars a piece. They're about...hmm, hang on a second. *runs off and gets one of her graphic novels, then comes back* They're about this size. G-G: *another incredulous stare* You mean to tell me that this little book is ten dollars? *flips through it* ...and why is it printed backwards? Hey, you're forgetting part of the conversation. What about the part where they ask what the different symbols mean, and "Hey, say something in Japanese!"Ugh, please don't remind me...I need to make a mental list of sentences to say whenever I get asked that question, so I can stop having to think about it so much before I answer.

Scanalation sites are wonderful things, especially since a lot of series that aren't avaliable here yet can be found on them. ^_^ Oh, and yeah, I was using American dollars. I was confused for a minute there, too, when you mentioned prices...I had to wonder why it cost so much more.
No matter how many times things like this happen, you're always so surprised by it...you'd think that you would be used to it by now.
Yeah, yeah...but it's not my fault; because of the way that we're taught, school becomes a big regurgitation session, so I was doomed to forget it eventually anyway. Blame the people who make us cram so much random information in our heads!
Since I don't think she's realized it yet, that wasn't meant to sound so much worse than what she actually meant.
*rereads* Umm... - -;; yeah, what she said. I forget sometimes that not everyone refers to things as regurgitation courses...classes where you learn things but never revisit them, so you only memorize things for quizzes and such. You replicate the right answers and forget most of it again as soon as the test is over; thus, it's like you're spitting the info right back out. It's not some weird term my friends and I made up, though...the first person I ever heard it from was my dad.

regurgitation, Ha! I never thought of it that way, but we always refer to our final exams as a giant memory test because it all comes down to if you can remember quotes and formulas and how fast you can write Yo! This is meant to be about pep! School is NOT Pep! ... opps...

*sighs* I miss school...I miss the philosophical discussions in class, and the funny comments in certain classes, and learning all sorts of new things, and the anime club, and being able to know I could disappear into my room and not be noticed for an entire day if I didn't want to be... Oh, really? What about homework, boring assignments, research papers, having to share a bathroom with other people, morning classes, having to wait in line for bad food and weak coffee, going to meetings you didn't care about... I didn't say I missed everything about school, just some of it! >.< But yeah, pep rallies are something I definitely don't miss. So many perky girls, so little space...ugh.

So many perky girls, so little space...ugh. I really don't see any problem with that aspect of it... it's the thirteen testorone ladden jocks with codpieces banging their helmeted heads against the wall and grunt in in some neadratholic language of war, terror, and hormones... all glareing at me as I walk past. Ug. *claw tips press against ankle* Dæmons only, Alexandre...*blush* Urggle. Sorry? *darts away*

The female side of pep rallies sticks out a lot more in Yumi's memories, since she was in an all-girl's private school for her last three years of high school. And in the one year of public, she spent most of the time being overwhelmed by the amount of people around, so a lot of details are just a blur.
Hey, it's not my fault the school I went to was an overcrowded factory...that's why I left. And there really were too many people there, or at least it seemed that way. I was worse than shy back then... *grumbles* ...stupid issue-causing middle school...
Not this again...
But I'm telling you, it....!
Don't even start.

Here we have what they call pep rallys, but what really arn't. At least I hope other places don't have students in animal suits dashing around bumping into stuff........ Edit: This goes back, but I saw my first FMA episode today, or really tonight, since its midnight at the times of this edit. That's good stuff!
