My great grandmother is still alive. o.o SHe's 90 something. My great-grandmother is 103, turning 104 this August. Although she lives with her daughter, she isn't entirely dependent. In fact, she rushed to the phone when her daughter fell and broke her hip replacement.

that'd be even worse...I'd much rather have some physical illness but keep my mind. apparently doing crosswords and that sort of thing keeps up your memory parts of your brain and can help with dementia. i have suddenly become a crossword freak. Not those cryptic ones..i just don't understand them. no MENSA for you.hahah. We took an excerpt from MENSA for psychology class. I got a high score. But I think that's because I had already seen some of them on the test to get into our gifted program. but that was 6 years ago. I had to have done decently on that test seing as how I'm in it now.

Here's one for you. Which word from group 1 should be in group 2?
Group 1 dogged spigot coward curtain catapult
Group 2 fearing light oven heavenly
I can't remember all the exact words that were used, but this is close enough.

Nope. Curtain. The others in group 1 have animals in them.
dogged coward spigot catapult
I think I set that up wrong. Aargh. I'm sorry. It was supposed to be put differently. Forgive me. That was out of a MENSA puzzle book. I screwed it up.

Yes, I believe people with mental disorders would have off-dæmons. Even small disorders. It just wouldn't be as readily apparent. And while we're talking about it, Callida changes color with my moods, whether it is bright orange with a bright red tail tip when I'm happy, orange with black streaks in her fur and a black tail tip when I'm angry, or different shades of brown while depressed depending on the level of depression. Sorry to REVIVE. But I'm touchy on mental concepts. I have mental issues(skitzophrenia, and a very, very bad obsession complsive disorder) and I'm currently not seeking any treatment, since my mum takes care of insurance she won't /let/ me see anyone. Anyway, I have skitzophrenia and the most 'off' Mashu has been has being albino-ish. A trend I think he finally broke. When I get into a 'fit' of an obession compulsive-ness (which revolve around the way I swallow and breath... not lying) Mashu does whatever he can to get me out of it. He went as far as in the form of wolverine to put his paws to my face and tell me an inch away that I'd be fine and to just breath. He never appeared off, gaunt, pale coat, or anything. I thought I just put my two cents, of whatever currency ya'll use.

I suffered from OCD in the past, and I had that concern about swallowing and breathing too, so I know what it feels like. No skitzophrenia tough.
I've had that problem before I met Saphi, but I've talked with her about that and I think that daemons are partially affected by the disorder too, but they do their best to help their humans.

I think I'm bipolar (but my Mom won't let me test yet) so when I swing from mood to mood sometimes (sometimes) Makiru does too. My little sister is autistic and I believe that autistic childrens daemons watch out for them and help them learn. Like a guardian angel.
