You say tom-ato, I say tom- ato When I went to an elementary in America for 1/2 a year I had the biggest argument with a girl about the correct pronounciation of Zebra. We say Zedbra, not Zeebra. I'd hate to live in a redneck area! I tend to detest narrowmindedness and that's the strong characteristic of our rednecks Same thing here too. Mmm....the bible belt with southern baptists.....-.-; Not my cup 'o tea,thank you...

I know a girl who talks with what everyone says is a Boston accent. I don't really think it is. Besides the fact that she was born and raised in southeast Texas, what you just described doesn't really sound like the way it sounds.

I'm not sure if I explained it right, myself. It's hard to figure out what your own accent is. To yourself, it doesn't sound like an accent.
