Nax is usually on my right side. When we're walking he bounds a little ahead of me because he's impatient.
D'you think it has anything to do with whether you're left-handed or right-handed? Just wondering, because my right side is stronger and more coordinated than my left, so I thought possibly that's why Nax only feels comfortable on my right.

Maybe- I'm right-handed adn he's on my right side, but some people who are right-handed might have a daemon on their left because they're less coordinated with their left and the daemon their might serve as a protective guardian or left-hand man. XD

Actually, I was going to make the post asking which side the daemon's on compared to which hand they use, but there weren't enough answer choice spaces.

Well I'm ampidextrous, which means I am right and left-handed, and Cal switches a LOT too. But he's usually on my left, which is my dominant side so I guess that's a big clue

I'm right-handed. That could be the reason why Callida is always at my right side.

I just remembered this... He always used to perch on my right shoulder, until we saw something that really hurt both of us. His talons 'dug' into my right shoulder so hard that--it's weird, but--he can't perch there anymore. I feel some pain in my heart; he gets uneasy and has to move. It's like an emotional scar.

Do you think he can't perch there anymore 'cause he associates the right shoulder with the moment you saw that depressing scene?
Huh. Weird that I just NOW noticed this poll. ^^; It's something I've thought about before, but haven't been able to explain: The fact that Rookie practically ALWAYS perches on my right shoulder, clings to my right shoulder, or walks to my right. Sure, he can be to my left, but he won't stay there long because it feels... wrong. It's like I lose some of balance, like it messes up my equilibrium.... Maybe there's some subconscious reason for why he avoids my left side, but I may never know.
Anyone experience anything similar when it comes to their daemon's side preference? I haven't read through all of this yet, or even voted. ^^;
Edit: And, yeah, I'm right-handed.

Falel doesn't have a side preference that I can think of, although... when he was a phoenix, he was ALWAYS on my right. Always. Now he usually perches on my left, but it doesn't really matter.

Pheo:Well I used to be left-handed when I was very small but my nursery teachers forced me to use my right, so now I use both but left is the one I use most often so Cal tnds to stay on my left mostly, but he switches a lot.

Ahhh! Same for me! It's illegal for teachers to try and change your hand here, but my year 1 teacher still tried. I can write in mirror image quite well and I read an article saying that left-handers and women were proved to be able to write mirror-image. Can you do that? *blink* So I could write mirror image cause I'm a chick. I can kinda. Isnt that what DaVinci did?

This is weird... I'm very dominate right, except in shooting. Then my left is dominate. It's weird. I'm even right-eye dominate. But Kryii sticks to the left. And a putt-tat is not really BIG on the protection angle... neh? Though I read somewhere that almost all felines are left-pawed. I wonder how they tested that? Anyway... could that be it? The walk on the side that is THEIR dominate side? What you are has nohing to do with it? Because she is Left Pawed. Since she is more than a cat, we could test it,
