Here's a raven I did last night in watercolour pencil. Note the passably sarcastic smile. The beak bled (I added too much water >< ) and the right leg is looking distinctly odd, but it's my first encounter with this medium, and I'm a perfectionist, so, whatever... I added feather detailings in coloured pencil, but the scanner wrecked most of them. img.photobucket.com/albums/v228/raven_alabaster/watercolourraven.jpg

Thats really good for your first effort. with watercolours. I like the effect of the body, it almost looks like watercolour painted over wax so you can see the white coming through. Very cool. One way to get extra detail from pencil-on watercolour is to do a quite thin wash of base colour (in this case black) nd then use watercolour pencils over the top. You can always blend the colour in using water if it looks too harsh. I don't think the leg looks odd at all, and I love his smile.

I've never tried drawing Rome. I should, but he'd turn out all cartoon-ish. Which, is wonderfull. But, you should be happy you at least tried.
He's very, very cute.

I can see the first one and the third one now. Very cool. I like the paw print on the centaur, it looks just like my sisters tattoo. The 3rd one is very good as well. Is it Wolverine?

-magically appears wearing a long, flowing cape and big scpeter- -smacks it into the ground- Hear ye, hear ye. The way to upload pictures on the net is as follows. 1) Scan the picture and save it in a file somewhere you will remember. 2) Head on over to Greatestjournal.com and make an account. 3) Upload your picture. If it's too big, re-size it. 4) Then come back to the boards and post [img*] the image URL here [/img*] 5) For the internet in general, type this. <img src="Your URL here"> That's it. -poofs-
