I'm a Potter fan. Urban fantasy totally rocks my socks. But... Charles De Lint rules even more

Douglas Adams is the funniest author out there. He wrote the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. So funny.... It's high recommended, by me.

Welllll... I haven't been around, for one. ^.^ Charles is a fantastic author, he -made- Urban Fantasy what it is today. As for funny, I adore Christopher Moore, he twists things we think we know with dark humour and spits them back out again, completely scandulous.

Speaking of Douglas Adams, the Hitchhiker's movie is fast-approaching. I'm not really keen, because some of the casting is insane. Some examples. The Guide: Stephen Fry. Slartibartfast: Bill Nighy(I am so sick of him).

Sorry to sway the thread in a different direction but if you type Daemon Forum instead of The Daemon Forum, it wins BTTS by a long-shot ;D

Vicky-I haven't read charles moore....*writes name down* I've read almost all of charles's stuff though, except for those things he's published under Samuel L. Key. I didn't like Angel of Darknes and haven't worked up to reading the otehrs while I still have stuff under his real stuff to read. I also think that Charles is great because he says he has friends who are pagan and alot of the sthings he writes about HAS to be based on first-hand experience...its just....:-\ How things work. Zoe- What about Dæmon Forum?

OMG. Douglas Adams rules. ::hits self in head for forgetting::
You know, if you changed the 'n' in Zen to an 'm', I'd be a mattress. I won't bother to explain that, you'll just have to go and read the books for yourself.
They BUTCHERED the movie. I mean, Zaphod doesn't even have two heads. x_x How /could/ they??? ::grumbles::
