I'm pretty sure it's a hooved animal like a deer or horse or something.
And I think chinchilla would be under mustelid. My bad.

El was a marten when wei met. She became a canary once or twice to avoid crowds, but the only other forms were those I tried to force on her.

Canine: Wolf, large black dog of uncertain breed Anime Creature: -- he's never become one Reptile: Salamander, as in the magicial fire-dwelling lizard-like things. Mustelid: Pine-marten-esque hybrid Ungulate: Paint horse (no idea which breed), antelope Mythical beast: Griffin Lagomorpha: Brown Hare (stole Hannah's category XD)

Lets see...
Bird-Eagle. Feline-He's settled as a leopard. Canine-Never been one. Mustelid-White ferret and an otter/squirrel/weasel/mole type thing. Anime thing-I don't watch anime, but he has become a lot of the Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends characters (I'm a sucker for cartoons). He's also become The Cheat, if that counts. Most of his normal forms are also very cartoony. Rodent-Squirrel. Mythical creature-I don't think he's been one of these.

The Cheat! =D Pocket has never become a The Cheat, but he does like some cartoon-y forms. Or else he wouldn't be part Japoro. Or become Renamon, or Pikachu. x__x;; Pikachu.

OMG! *is a major HR junkie* We are also Homestarrunner junkies! He becomes The Cheat to make me laugh when I'm sad. He also says "Douglas" in that cute little squeaky voice. It usually cheers me up.

im still skeptical that daemons can become cartoons. I mean...lets be serious here for a second. This is your soul. its not your ' digimon' its not your ' pokemon' blahblah various other things people seem to think their daemons can be. Honestly people...its your soul...give it some dignity .

Don't have a lot of time, but...
No, Rookie is NOT my Pokemon or Digimon. He's my dæmon, no matter what. Is he Japoro so often because I purposely want to not make him "dignified?" Heck no. It's because he naturally feels comfortable in the form - he becomes it without either of us thinking about it. It's because the form fits my personality well. That anime character speaks English and has an obvious unique personality. Now, I've never heard of a soul settling as a Pokemon, because those anime creatures are very much 2-D animals with little personality. Someone with a Pokemon dæmon would just be like... brainless. o.O But I have no problem with my Rookie's Japoro form, and I see none.

allllriiight...but im still feeling a bit of the soul-bond syndrome here..I mean...those things aren't real. Its like..colour eye contacts. I think those take away the beauty of people born with truly beautiful and unique eye colours....not everyone is special you know. if your just going to make up random cartoon animals that are cool looking....what are you doing. not to mention the fact that any 'personality' they have isnt real. its created. simulated. false.
