Thanks guys XDD
Yeah, it was quite cold there, but not as cold as I thought it would be. When we first arrived it was very cold, and in the morning of the first day as well, but then it warmed up a little bit. Still chilly and really crisp, but not uncomfortably cold. It did help that I was wearing nice warm clothes as well though. xD;
I didn't think much of the food out there.. we were just shoved in a restaurant and lunch and dinner time and we got what we were given, which was usually salad, soup, then some sort of fish meal or meat meal. I didn't really know what any of it was. ; ; and i didn't like fish so a lot of the time i went hungry. But at the time I didn't really care, because it was just really good to be in Russia anyway.
It was quite funny on the first day though, because me and Jade went to sleep (after looking out the window and seeing two people in some alley way looking like they were snorting something ) and then didn't wake up until like, 9 o'clock to hear Mr. Vick (headmaster) banging furiously on our hotel room door telling us that everyone was on the tourbus outside waiting for us. -_-; We had five minutes to get ready, no breakfast and it was rather embarrassing. It wasn't so bad though because there were a couple of other people in our position as well.
Oh..another interesting/cool thing was that we got to go into these places that normal tourists usually wouldn't be able to go.. like a government place thingy where Lenin and his wife stayed. The only reason we were allowed there was because we had this Russian lady with us who had a few contacts... unfortunately I found this place a lot more boring than the other places so I didn't really appreciate the fact that we wouldn't usually have been able to go in there. xD;
Not much else to say really.. we got to go bowling one night, and the bowling alley is the coolest place ever, so big with lots of alleys and really cool chairs It's hard to describe. I came second as well!
We got to see the city at night as well.. which was rather fun. It's so pretty... epileptics would have trouble though because outside arcades or whatever they have these screens with full on strobe lights and colourful lights flashing in your face. It's so trippy e.e
Anyways.. I think that's it. I'm such a waffler. XD;
