On my wages!? I think not! I practically have to save 3 months wages to buy a Mars Bar! Anyway, is that book (Edgar Allen Poe) any good? A friend of mine really loves his stuff but Ive never read any.

I got a small paperback version for 3$ CDN. From a bookstore, shiny new at that. (And a foreword by Pullman, nonetheless! ^^) Don't know if they sell it in England, though.
It's definately worthwhile. The poems are strange; lightly browse them on the couch in full daylight and they seem innocent enough... Read them over again at midnight in a cold, dark room and they're scarier than The Ring and Ju-on combined! Creepy and intensely intriguing, his poetry has wormed its way up the ranks to become my favorite! (/creepyrabidfangirlreviewness)
