;D ;D ;D ;D ;DYAYAYAYAY!!!!! James and I (with encouragement from Kavita and Kirjavi) decided this morning that we were going to tell our parents and our younger sister, Anna , about daemons. When we told them they believed us! And now my mom, dad, and nine year old sister, are all getting to know there daemons! Isn't that great?! We're a family of daemians now! My mom has named her panther daemon, Razial (Raz or Razi for short) and my dad has named his black cat daemon, Hema. And then Anna has named her unsettled daemon, Falco. Cool, isn't it?! ;D

Wow. That's great. I wish MY family would react that enthusiastically. Instead, I can never see myself admitting my belief in dæmons to my father...

Hm. Lucky! My family knows of daemons. But I think they secretly all think Pocket doesn't exist or I made him up or something. Once, when my mum was telling me I should go to bed at 10:00 ( TEN O'CLOCK!! ) I blew up at her ( and rightly so ). Jen remarked sarcastically, "What does Pocket think?" So Mum was like, "He sent me a letter, saying, 'Get this girl to bed earlier! I'm exhausted!'" And they're both laughing and I'm sitting there, silently fuming ...
But recently my 11-year-old stepbrother Jordan has taken an interest in daemons, and is trying to get to know his - a cat called Ruby. I'm so pleased for him - I just know Ruby will help him. And when I figured out my stepmother's daemon, a stag, and showed her the analysis, she just thought it was amazing - and wants to read the Daemon Page, when she has time. Yay!

Nobody else in my family believes. A few friends do, but if I try to introduce it to anyone and they show the slightest hint of laughing at the idea, I drop it. And I never tell them of Silvix and my relationship with her as my own daemon unless they genuinely 100% believe in the idea. Good for you, Cho, because my family would never believe me if I told them.

My mom believes in souls, but I'm not going to risk telling her.

I'm really happy that everyone took up the idea so enthusiastically. James and I were really releived. I really owe it all to you guys though. Without you, I never would have been able to work up the courage .

My family knows of daemons, and Hannah's relaionship with me. They seem to genuinly believe me. They haven't taken an interest in getting to know theirs though.
*has a question* Why are you guys posting in the daemon only forum? *checks top* yeah daemon only.

Sorry, I know, it was just that I was so excited I didn't pay attention to where I was posting it. Kir has already told me off. Kir:Get off Keira! I can take over from here!

Soda: Yes, my human is too lazy to sign out, then back in as me.
Anywho. Yeah, I can see how your excitedness caused you to be blind to the signs that said which forum you were posting in. I won't get on to you for that. I wouldn't want to burst your happy-bubble. ;D

Hmm. My human, Ra, has told her 'friends' of me, and was shunned for a small while. It was awful. But luckily, I pestered Sarah to tell her mother, and all she recived was a small, "You're crazy. o.O" Oh well. Her father wouldn't react to it either. He's a science man himself. But it's alright, because I still believe in their souls, and I keep bugging Sarah to find their forms.

I want Raven to tell, but I guess it's all for the best. Her dad is the strictest atheist this side of the ocean. Her mom, perhaps, would believe her... By then again, she could turn around and appoint Raven a therapist just as easily. Congratulations, Keira, for having such a wonderfully accepting family. I'm sorry, Pocket and Cat. That sounds horribly mean. There's nothing worse than being told you don't exist.

Pocket - I'm told quite often that I don't exist. Or people try to hit me. o.O I've learned to live with it. People don't accept me; they think Cat's crazy. Good for them. I don't care. She doesn't care. But secretly I think Cat is very hurt when her friends make snide comments about daemons. She pretends to shrug it off, but I know my Cat better than that.
Her mother tries to very hard to accept me, though - so don't get us wrong. Cat sees one time where she was hurt by a comment like that. But for the most part her mum doesn't even mention me, or if she does, she's telling Jen not to talk about me in such rude ways, or something like that. I like Cat's Mum very much. It's a pity Jen and I can't get along, though. Heh.
