How far away can you go from your human? I can go about 6 feet, up to 8 if need be.

Rho: Well, here we can only guess. I'd estimate that I could go pretty far from Hannah if I needed to. If I was physical that is. 7 yards. (Hannah: 7 yards?!?) It does seem pretty far, but 7 yards sounds about right.
I wonder if the type of animal that we settle as effects how far we can go away from our humans. I'd expect a daemon that settled as a winged creature would be able to go farther than a grounded creature.

Well, I remember this being discussed in a past thread, that some of us don't really FEEL a pull. I think this may be because we know that the daemon is INSIDE, its just when we VISUALIZE them when we see that they may be farther away from us. This way, you know your daemon is always with you, and can see them go as far away from you as they please w/out having to worry about a pull. I always remember this, and so does Tyb, whenever hei flies. Hei usually stays fairly close, but when hei was an eagle or other larger, flying bird he'd go quite a distance away. But maybe thats just me.

Rho: I should've said that wei don't feel a pull either. Just that if I was physical, that's how far I'd be able to go. Otherwise, I can go as far as wei want, because I'm not actually going anywhere.

Kir and I have never felt the "pull". I even imagine him flying out of sight as an eagle only to reappear at my side as a tiger. As hei isn't physical, distances really don't bother us and wei sometimes go far distances from eachother. For some people, the thought makes them uncomfortable. It's different depending on the human and daemon.

We don't feel a vivid pull, but when I visualize Darkett more than 5-6 metres away, we feel uneasy. As a general rule, I like him in the same room, preferably within arm's reach. I'll dig up my post from the old topic: I'm not sure if it's because Darkett is a bird, but he was able to fly quite far before I felt any pull... He was balancing on the windowsill at the other end of the room, easily four meters away, and we both felt quite fine. He does this often, actually--perching away from me. Anyhow, Darkett decided to fly out the open window, and perched in a tree beside our driveway. I felt a nervous feeling, like the one you get before you give a speech before a large crowd. Then he came back, and it went away.

Well it's not so much of a 'pull' but Zoe feels distressed if I go too far away from her, it comforts her to know that I'm near. I can go to about 10 feet but Zoe gets distressed at that distance so I don't really go too far, about four feet without her getting upset.

The farthest I've ever been from TU is less than two yards. Probably not even one yard.

You know, I've never really tried to get away from her. Don't you feel better if you're in your human's arms, or on their body (if you aren't too big)? I do. Most time I'm on her shoulder, and I think I could never get far from her (Hunter: But I know now he'll try ...) can't they gop away when we type?

Well, I make it type for me.
Thanks...
Any time. Well, if we get to far apart, I ceratinly feel something, an uneasiness that is not something I like at all. What happens is when he's being stubborn, I'll sit and wait. He walks away, and... yeah. Sometimes, it doesn't work, and I give in first, sometimes he does. But I do it.

I can't go that far from J, come to think of it. I can't go near another person.

2-4 meters, maybe? We don't like being apart. He can go.. ten meters maybe, and then I'll start.. dying inside, it feels like.

The feeling... it's horrible, isn't it? I... *shudders* I don't much like thinking it, and I only use it when I have to. As far as seperating from them... we are a part of them, but at the same time, we aren't. Noncopreal, perhaps, but distinct. And I can go away from him... but it hurst so bad.
