Thought I'd do a post to start this area of the forum up and running. So can they see them or are they in anyway aware of them? (Im only talking about daemons in our world here by the way.......) Mine and Mox's thought is that daemons can be roughly aware of another persons daemon ,and that that is where the intuitive (and often correct) guesses about other daemons forms come from. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts? That's all it is: Your daemon's intuition and your own creating the image of that other daemon. Obviously daemons can't see one another as bright as day. I would've noticed by now, since I speak with Rookie all the time. =P We can only envision them in our mind's eye, but unlike with our own daemon, we can't be sure about what the other daemon is saying or doing. Only its human would know.

Okibi, when you and Rookie try to work out other peoples daemons, do you tend to use an analytical approach of their personality etc, or do you tend to just trust your gut instinct?

Short answer: Usually my gut instinct first, and then I analyze it to see if it fits.

Makes sense. I was over analysing what my dads daemon would be, reading about loads of different kinds of animals and stuff, and then decided to just use my gut instinct. I watched him watching TV the other day ,and....just knew...that his daemon was some kind of wild golden coloured canine. I looked in my book again and saw a picture of a golden jackal which is just what his daemon looked like when I tried to visualise it. And after reading about the golden jackal it described my dad perfectly!

I tend to go by gut instinct, too. But some people I really have to analyse. Like my mum. I finally decided that her dæmon must be a hummingbird - but I know she doesn't like birds, so I was stumped. But she just returned from a week-long vacation in Vancouver and was telling me last night about my Uncle George's new house. "It has a bush," she told me, "that hummingbirds come to all the time. They were only that big." "You don't like birds, do you?" I asked, a little confused. "They were cute," she replied. So my mum doesn't like birds but, evidently, seemed to really love these small hummingbirds at my uncle's house.
