'Ranorock' sounds creepily like 'Rannock' - my own dæmon's name. o.o Meh.

That's what I was thinking, but Rano said that it was too bad because that was his name. I hope you don't mind. I would change it if I could, but he can get very stubborn.

No, no. If it's your dæmon's name, it's your dæmon's name. You can't really change it.

Yeah. I suppose. Even though it does seem a lot alike, Rannock's nickname is Rookie, and mine's Rano. so... yeah...

The clock thing happened again!
As with last time, I was getting out of the shower when I absent-mindedly asked my dæmon...
"Rookie, what time is it?" "Time for you to get a watch." =) "..Rook, I have a watch, and it's right over there on the counter. What time is it?"
He rested his forepaws on the counter and glanced at my watch's face (which, btw, was blocked from my view), then said, "Eleven twenty."
I was skeptical and picked up my wrist-watch, assuming he'd be at least ten minutes off... 11:20 sounded too late. But it WAS 11:20, on the nose.
lol I just noticed that was also the same TIME as last time, except AM, not PM. =P

That's funny. I think Rano and I will have to experiment. ;D It sounds fun.

Ive never tried that......but, whenever Im on the bus going to work I'll sit in the window seat near the front and Mox will sit next me. If it looks like someones going to sit in "his" seat , he'll usually frown and say something like "Yeah, yeah, just keep moving pal...." and almost always the person will change their mind and sit somewhere else, even if the bus is quite full.....

Cool! I don't ride the bus. But when I do, it's on a field trip, and I want to sit by my friends, so Rano drapes himself over my shoulders, or, his favorite, runs along side the bus.

I've had the bus thing happen to us before. Instead of talking clamly, my Rome will give an angry twitch and snarl at the person, "Get off my seat, you moocher!" And the person will just keep walking on. I take the bus a lot, and I like it. It's a good time to sit and relax and talk to your dæmon, if you can't for for walks.
