Okay, Ive got another question....After this Im gonna go and lie down for making my brain work so hard... I was watching the movie "Identity" last night. If anyone reading this hasn't seen it and wants to ...DON'T READ ANY FURTHER AS THERE ARE SPOILERS!!! Okay? Still with me? The movie deals witha character who has multiple personality disorder and as a result has developed 10 seperate personalities. My question is, do you think that a person who has this disorder would also have a fractured, or multiple daemons. Or would they still just have one because their condition means that their psyche is fractured, and not their soul? By the way, wei didn't really like the movie, it was too predictable, but John Cusack was :)lovely in it!

I think they'd just have one daemon. The condition is a fracturing of the mind so there's all these personalities, but those personalities aren't technically individual living human beings all inside one person. Does that make sense?

Yes--someone with such disorder would still have one soul, no matter how many personalities they had. But my guess is that the dæmon could still change in the mature human, to represent all personalities.

ooo i did see it, nice film.
Hum...i was asking myself questions about daemons in people with psycological disorders...but in this case i think there would be one daemon, but that would still be transforming...which is not that same as an unsettled daemon...am i making sense? Because the person in the movie could only be one personality at the time, even if he had several in his head. The daemon would be settled but different for every person but-...GAH! I"M LOST IN MY OWN THOUGHTS! *runs around*
ok i try again. For every personality he has, he would have a settled (in the case of adults, there's a kid in the movie no?) daemon form, that would switch with the person...am i clear, or is this mumbo-jumbo-crazy talk? lol

It is crazy talk but that is always accepted and encouraged here. Nah seriously, I think youre right. All the personalitys could have difrent formed daemons. Maybe it just means that their daemon never truly settles and can change form constantly to reflect their humans psyche.

i think each person would have a different daemon in his mind , maybe tangents on his real daemon, you know like something related but that leans more towards agression or something like that

Umm, this is just my opinion, but I think maybe the dæmon would be an animal which has a wide range of behaviours, am I making sense?

Yep. I can't think of any animals with wide range of behaviour though............
