My dæmon hasn't made me into a dæmon. I don't understand.................

Because that's not the correct way of wording it.. Haim doesn't 'make' you a dæmon. I believe that you are a dæmon for him, in another plane of existence. But it's obviously not something necessary to know or understand. I just find it interesting...

the reversed roles thing is great, okibi. (and i'm in it - ::twinkle:: ) the imagining your daemon as the opposite sex idea worked. wei tried it, and falel's form turned into what? none other than a grey-and-black tabby. adelaide - maybe if you ask haim about the reversed roles thing, maybe ask what your name would be as a daemon, you'll get something. ::shrug:: dunno.

I know this is off topic but I was just wondering...well my daemon has just recently (really recently) settled as a Bald Eagle and I'm rather happy with the form. I was jsut wondering...what does that say about my character?

I couldn't really tell ya at the moment, Keira. It's takes me time to answer questions like those... Maybe I can do a quick analysis of a bald eagle for you, but only if the eagle is still a common form of your dæmon's. Else I'd consider it a waste of time for me.

I still imagine him change, but his most common form by far is a bald eagle and I know that's what he's settled as or will settle as very soon. I didn't really ever want him to settle, but now it sort of just feels natural. And the bald eagle form just feels right and so true to me. Hope you understood that...

falel and i were discussing the role reversal thing a few nights ago, and decided on his human name - gabriel. wei like it.
pondering: i know that some people have had their daemon take on a human form for a short time. do you think that a daemon's human form is this world is actually what he or she looks like as his or her reversed role? i can't imagine gabriel looking any different than falel's human form.
((random typo comment - i spelled falel as faele at first. ::blinks:: hey, that looks rather cool.))

(*is in the article* So totally _yay_!) My Darkett's human form is a woman. She's my height, with long black hair, dark blue eyes, and always wearing a black sleeveless dress. My nickname for her is "Darkhanrah", but we're working on finding her real one. Oddly, I can never visualise Darkett and her at the same time, like I can do with his other forms on occasion--as soon as one appears, the other dematerializes. :S
Zen: Based on my experience, I think that a dæmon's human form is their alternate self... If you can't imagine Gabriel being different, then he probably isn't.

darkhanrah... i like. does it mean anything, or is it random? she does sound quite entrancing. and - you could try imagining youself as a daemon next to her, as opposed to darkett... have you and darkett come up with your daemon counterpart's form and/or name yet?

Sometimes Rano becomes human formed. It's almost random. When he does it, it doesn't seem like he's him anymore. He's a boy with longish sandy, blond hair and blueish-teal eyes. He's taller than me (I'd say somewhere around 5 ft. 11 in.), and so far he's never smiled. I think this might be what he would be in oxford. Though, it might be the my-age version of my first best friend. He moved away when wei were four. But the feeling like it's not really him anymore has me leaning tward the oxford idea.

The weirdest thing happened to me last night involving the me as a daemon thing. I was thinking over the topic with Tib, and we had decided that it was too tricky to figure out what I'd be in Lyra's world so we left the topic open and started to fall asleep. RIGHT when I was at my sleepiest, he kind of yelled at me to turn on the light and look down, and there in front of me was the weirdest marten I've ever seen, with these brown and deep-red markings trimmed in white, she was GORGEOUS, and then she went away. I smiled at her and shut off the light. XD Weirdest thing......just thought I'd put it up. Don't know her name yet, though......but her markings were amazing! Tee hee. I see some other people have had experiences like that....so that makes me feel better. Yeah. ^_^U

My Rome does too. He's exactly like I would picture him as a human in Oxford. He's average sized, but muscular, and with black and silver hair, spiked, with forresty green eyes, just like his wolverine form. Now, I'll just try to picture my dæmon-self, and we'll be all set.
Does anyone have tips for me?
