I know this might sound weird, but do you think its possible for a daemon to be some sort of a plant? If it can become something fictional- like a unicorn or a gryffin or something... couldn't he become a tree? It would make sense to say that an oak tree couldn't show a person's personality, but could a daemon, if he wished, be able to? And yes, I realize how dumb this might sound.

I don't think so...but I guess it's possible. But no daemon would settle like that-I don't think that's possible. Even if a daemon did become a plant for a second, I think it would just be the human's imagination, not actually representing their thoughts or emotions. I mean, I'm sure I could imagine Kir becoming a weeping willow, for instance, but I don't think hei would actually be a willow, if you follow me. Did that make any sense?

wow that would be special well maybe if you were an oregon tree huger but my guess would be a general no... sorry just imagined my dads daemon as a tree ( laughs )... partialy because of the fact they have no emotion and also because they are not capable of thought? did that make any sense?

Yeah, I agree with Kiba, I think that your dæmon would have to be a concious critter of some sort or another, but maybe your dæmon could be something like a tree if you were unconcious yourself, like in a coma or summat, I don't know, I think it's debatable.

Maybe if it was some kind of weird fantasy plant- animal hybrid... I agree, I think it would have to be able to have consious thought.

A Toadie dæmon? *cracks up* I guess a Toadie is different from a mushroom, cause a toadstool from Mario is [semi] sentient. Do they have legs, even? How do they move? I can't remember.

I think they have legs...
Oh, I just thought of something. Remember when I said plant-animal hybrid earlier? I just remembered Digimon and Pokemon. Perhaps someone's daemon could be a digimon, or pokemon. Some digimon and pokemon are plant creatures, so it seems right to say a daemon could be one. Soda just became Palmon...(a little plant digimon if you've never watched digimon) Good. He went back to normal.

yeah toad has legs and arms as well and a funny little white vest but that is mario after all did you ever wonder what eating a leaf that alows you to turn part racoon and fly insinuated and when you ate a "magic mushroom" it made you get bigger. well i think there might be a bit of a subliminal message there
