Anybody have any ideas about arctic fox dæmons? I ask this because on the occasions which I see Dal, she is in the form of an arctic fox. So, what does everyone think about arctic foxes and what they mean? (I suppose this is asking for an analysis)

What a coincidence. I've already finished researching Arctic foxes for an analysis that Kirryn wanted. Haven't actually analyzed it yet, though. =/ If you want, I'll have one for you to read in a week or so. You'll have to depend on everyone else for ideas now. I'm no good at saying what a form means on the spot.

Oh, wait. I have an idea. Do that daemon pointsheet, only reverse. Like, find the thing that fits the arctic fox, then look at the answers that correspond.

Lets not get off topic. TU has a fox daemon, and they say that means things like Cunning Manipulative Fast-moving Solitary Never pick a fight, but WILL defend if provoked

Sounds like a fairly good description of me, especially the cunning and solitary parts, although all of the others fit too.

Here's my finished analysis of an Arctic fox dæmon -Your nature makes you well suited to common situations and tasks you have to deal with, but you're also able to adapt when things change -Not affected by things that bother most others are -Will look for hand-outs; follow others hoping to get their help -Make use of what others don't -Not only are you sly, but it could be said you HAVE to be -Able to blend into the background when needed; often hard to spot -To physically protect yourself you don't stand and defend yourself - you find a way to escape and hide; you aren't one to "freeze" -A collector -Excellent at making connections -Don't mind working hard to assist others, but more so when you have plenty of free time -Tend to be wandering around alone, or in a small group; usually part of a small group temporarily; travel a lot -Sneaky; people will not know what you don't want them to find out -Apathetic in the best possible way; can completely ignore the most furious or cold-hearted verbal attacks - take it without flinching; indifferent to what's around you if it's harmful or just not beneficial; stay stable in hectic situations -Don't falter or stumble when working on something -Perceived as more intimidating than you feel -Don't let circumstances dampen your mood; don't easily get emotional -Survive even when surrounded by unforgiving people and a harsh environment; overcome all odds -May sink to "low" levels to get what you need Despite the small size, someone with an Arctic fox soul sounds like a tough cookie. o.o

That's a lot different than the red fox.

Indeed it is. Guess it's because they live so differently. I mean, an arctic fox is somewhat smaller than a red fox, and it lives on the icy tundra of the north, and red foxes don't seem to have a difference in summer and winter coats. Not much of one anyway.

They don't actually have too different a lifestyle. Some red foxes actually coexist with arctic foxes. Their lifestyles are different, but not by too much.
They don't have summer and winter coats, but their coats DO vary. Red, black, silver, white(unnatural), and mixed colors. That's why the red fox is sometimes called the 'colored fox'.
But I'm getting off-topic...
