I'm pretty concerned about this, so sorry to pepper you guys with another question. See, my dæmon is a european wildcat (it's behavior really does fit me best thank you ppls who gave their opinions to me! ) and my best friend's has a rabbit dæmon (well, that's what I think it is based on her personality). I'm worried because the wildcat's favorite meals consists of bunnies!! (eek! ) Uh, is this supposed to tell me something about our friendship? (I'm thinking it means that I'm dominant over her, which I am) Asher has yet to have a craving for her dæmon (and I hope he never does) but this kinda worries me a little...

Aurora is very predatory, she always wants to eat birds and small animals.. but never humans or their daemons. I think it should be fine, unless your daemon is a cannibal

Dæmons are human souls, not real animals, so they don't have any bestial insticts. They don't crave for food, 'cause they don't need to eat. Ya don't have to worry about your wild cat dæmon eyeing any rabbit soul and thinking of it as a meal. XD As you guessed, predators and prey best represent who's more dominant in the relationship.

Okibi: So I guess that means Aurora thinks she can kick the tail of any small mammal *chuckles* I never liked Pigeons...

Nothing to worry about--besides, I have yet to see a person with a certain daemon dominate over anothe rperson with a certain daemon....or maybe I just don't notice these things. Who knows. I don't think you should worry though.

I also believe it could be a sort-of dominance thing. I'm VERY concerned with dominance, as whenever someone threatens my authority by trying to force me into a position of submission, I deck them. They become very sorry afterwards.

I'm really consious about dominance. If someone tries to force me to submit, I fight them. Maybe not physically, but maybe with words. I'm not good with words, so I let my size show itself. I'm not small. I'm not fat either (not noticeably anyway). I'm just tall and muscular. For a girl anyway. Try to make myself look imposing or threatning. But now I am rambling.

Hmmm well in my group we're all pretty equal in my friendship. Jade has a lion-daemon, Lorien a wolf-daemon, Jasmin's got a monkey-daemon and I've got a panther-daemon (of course) but we never have power struggles and things like that

I only submit to certain people willingly. But there are some people who try to dominate me, and it makes me really angry. I feel like submission and respect are things earned, not to be shoved down anyone's throat with no regards to their feelings. I'm not really a very dominant person, though. XD I just kinda fit in with my friends without having a particular rank. On the other hand, my friends Carl and Sera have (respectively) cougar and fox daemons, and both of them are high rank with our structure. So is Carl's girlfriend, and she's got a cat. (I think some kind of wildcat...Brooke's scary. x.x) But I'm just the quiet/silly one. :X There are no power struggles with us, either.

Hahah. My boyfriends has a rabbit and I have a "dog". :-) We don't have power struggles- more of we switch up being submissive and dominant.

Me and my father have similar dæmons (both red foxes, but mine's got coyote-colored fur), and we VERY often get into power struggles. Usually it's when he pushes too far. It's never a physical fight, but usually just a refusal from me to do as he says and then a tension between us until it is resolved. It usually ends in a stalemate, or I back down. After all, he is my father. With anyone but my family, I'd never back down.
To Hannah: I usually just show my size, too. I'm 5' 11" tall, and I have incredible physical and mental strength and endurance.
The only one who could probably best me in a physical fight would be my best friend, whom I am dominant over. Go figure.
