Ooohhhh...new poll! Sorry about the badly worded options, there wasn't much space. So, if you could have the world anyway you wanted, how would you like the daemon/human relationship and "rules" of daemons to be? You can vote for more than 1 option. Okay.....3.....2.......1......GO!

I chose "visible but not corporeal". But "choosing whether visible or not" and "everyone knows about but not all know theirs" were both pretty close. How 'bout all three?

Although having daemons that never settle could be fun, I think you would get a bit tired of their constant changing after a while and want them to settle. What do you guys think?....

Well, I want for all dæmons to be visible and solid so I can pet my Rammy XD and so I can look at all the other pretty dæmons.

I picked 'D's dont' settle. Ever.' I believe that dæmons don't settle. They aren't physicall, so who's going to stop my Rome from becoming a tiger when he feels like it? I tend to use the term 'settled' as knowing who I am. What's my personality and all that. Kind of like an anchor, to hold us down. But he still changes once in a while, though he loves his wolverine form.

The way I see it, is that the settled form, the one that represents your personality, is the true form. Your dæmon can still change forms, obviously, but the settled form is the only true form. That's just my opinion, don't mind me.

Exactly what I was saying. I agree with that fact. Like I said before, because dæmons are not physical, who's going to stop mine from changing when he wants? We acutally had a big discussion about this at the Livejournal Community.

Then Rome is what I call a 'changling.'
"A dæmon who is knowingly settled, but both the dæmon and its human continue to envision it changing forms."
When you see your dæmon change forms even after he's settled... I don't think he's technically changing. He can't. Your soul is settled, and you know that. Even after Rookie is completely settled, I'll probably imagine him as Japoro or the griffin sometimes, but that doesn't mean he's really becoming those other shapes.

I see. So, he's not really changing, but I just sort of imagine it. That clears things up.
Rome the Changling. has a nice ring xD

I would like the one of: D's can choose if their corporeal or not. I'd really love my Kir to be corporeal, except that I wouldn't be able to see him change anymore....I'm what is called a changleon, see. But it would still be cool to see the daemons of others...
