Settled, but wish s/he was in a different form?

I've always wondered about this....Triba loved his badger, mourning dove, and meerkat forms especially. He had some other forms, too, but those were his favorites. He's pretty happy, though, as what he is. He likes being furry and able to fly, and I'm content as well.

Zedith loves his black wolf, long-tailed weasel and garter snake best... he's very diverse. He likes all of them and I'm perfectly fine with that. He likes his wolf form, but I like him kinda settling on my left shoulder...

When he wants to settle, he will, I guess.

I love my Kirjavi's scarlet fox form. To me, it's the most beautiful thing he can be. I wouldn't have him any other way.

The way I see it, if you're not content with your dæmon's form, you're not content with yourself as a person. I love El's marten form.

I love my daemons form ( a Artic wolf ) and wouldn't change it for the world. i love wolfs with a deep passion for i feel so close to them and with kibas form being a wolf i am realy happy ;D.

I don't think a daemon will settle has anything their human doesn't like. It just wouldn't be right.
Rome: Agreed. From a daemon's POV, I don't think it'd be right for a daemon to settle if their human is unhappy with the form. That'd be like the human disliking themselves. It's just..scary to think about. o.O

Wow! Left shoulder!? That's Triba's favorite spot....I guess we must be distant bloodkin or something. XD

And as far as everyone else has said, yeah, a dæmon settling as something its human dislikes is unlikely, but heck, sometimes it may take awhile to atone to it. A woman terrified of rodents would take a bit to get acustomed to a rat, mouse, or shrew dæmon, for instance. I just wanted to put in all the possible opinions.

You, too! In any case.....I'm glad to know you all like the way your dæmons settled, if they have. Birds, mammals, reptiles, whatever, I'd still love my Triba!

i agree with the others, it would be highly improbable for a daemon to settle in a form the human disliked or was unhappy with. although not impossible by any means... it would probably be a sign of the person having low self-esteem or otherwise not liking themself.

I don't think a person would be afraid of thier daemon's shape. They might not like it, but certainly wouldn't be afraid of it. I had a dream that Soda became a freaky gigantic flying squirrel thing(as in if he stood up on his hind feet he'd tower high above me), and I know that if he hadn't been my daemon, I would've peed my pants. The thing was seriously creepy, but I felt comfortable with him because he was Soda....assuming you were implying that a person might be afraid of their daemon in a certain shape. If not, then you've gotten a nice little rant now haven't you? ;D

Wow so special. it would be a sad day for me if i was afraid of my daemon. i don't think that is at all possible though i agree with them.
