Hahah> When I went ot look up a liger I found that. I don't see there being anything wrong with it than there is with people who genetically alter plants and animals.

It angers me. People crossing animals just because they can, and it gives us NO advances in medical research or anything. They just want to come up with FUN new names for weird new animals, without regard to the risks run by mixing species that weren't supposed to mix. I do NOT like it at all, I don't think it's cool, and it's pathetic IMO. I'm sorry to be so ugly today, it's nothing personally directed at anybody here.
EDIT: And you can't cross a polecat with a ferret, they are the same animal. The only difference is that the ferret has been domesticated for several hundred years and comes in more coat colors. To look at, they're identical.

Yeah. It's sad for the animals because they get exploited and stuff. People see them in freak shows and things like that. I think it would be OK if it was an accident, like on this one cat sanctuary where they didn't think they would interbreed, so they put the tigers and lions together. They didn't know they'd have babies.

*shrug* If peoplehave the money for it or can get research,it's not so bad. It;s not like we're making really really really big really smart sharks or anything. It's harmless. If anything, the animals will be revered and taken pictures of. If it was between totally diffrent animals, then the chromosomes wouldn't match and it wouldn't work.

Doesn't really matter to me, although that WOULD be an awsome job. Oh, and nice title ghost.

No. We're taking very different animals and sticking them together to see if they'll make babies and then exploiting the babies just so a bunch of yuppies can take pictures and oogle the "new species". It's fine to breed animals like big cats and wild dogs, but what if a researcher wanted to see if humans and chimps could interbreed and have little hybrid babies? Or little human gorillas? Humanzee? Goriman? Hurilla? But you won't see that happening. No, just the lesser beings. It's okay to use them against themselves to have neat nifty pretty little hybrid babies for no other purpose than to amuse the humans. e_e I just have serious moral issues against that. But that's enough from me on this. Again, I apologize for my temper.

Mules occur naturally in nature, as well as hinnies.

I still think it's wrong. I won't talk more of it. I won't be checking back in here. Nobody mention it to me ever again.

I don't see anything wrong there what so ever, I mean I own several Hybrid wolves and there just isn't any problem.

On another note-since these creatures were hybridized by scientists, could you still have your daemon settle as one of them?
