I just hit the jackpot on online books, this site has tons of the classics, all uploaded and downloadable for free. www.promo.net/pg/Also, it is entirely legal due to a loophole in some copyright law. So, those book lovers out there, this is the jackpot

Only books copyrighted before 1924 (I think, it might be 22 though) can go up there because the loophole only applies to them. This means that ANY book that was EVER published before 1924 can go up there.

I scanned the website, but I still don't get how it's legal. Do you know what exactly the "loop hole" is concerning books published before 1924?

They become part of the "public domain", even if the copyright is afterwards renewed, the origional texts are still part of the public domain, I could show you the link to where they explain the legality, but it essentially says that X years after the author of the book dies, the work of the author becomes part of the "public domain" Even if the copyright is then renewed, apparently the origional one, that's copyright expired, is still public domain. Thats the gist of it anyway.

I THOUGHT you'd been getting your 'new names' from books, Ghost. I remember that that book 'pass the bitch, chicken' is some kind of art book, isn't it?
Okay, I'll quit bugging you for today.

Just out of curiosity, is "White trash beautiful" from a book, or is it purely from your imagination.
