Every forum needs one of these. XD Describe the cliques you hang around with/fall into! (ie, nerd, prep, jock, goth, rocker, emo-weirdo, farmer....whatever!) I have a strange itching feeling that I'll be the only one on this forum to say this, but if you ran into me on the street, you'd proooobably think I'm a prep. No lie! I like nice clothes! I LIKE Abercrombie and Fitch! I LIKE shopping for nice things! I don't have that much money to DO that, but I like it nonetheless! of course, my wardrobe isn't ENTIRELY that stuff, I do have a thing for weird random shirts off of the internet. So its a pretty funky style I dress. As for people I actually hang out with....get this.....its the drama nerds/nice nerds. I'm in all-AP classes and my best best best friend ever will PROBABLY end up being class valedictorian. She's wicked smart. When I'm not talking politics with my nerd friends who grew up on farms and are either Mormon or motivated by psycho parents, I'm hanging out with the crazy weird drama nerds. Drama theatre, that is, but we do have our unneccessary teenage angst dramatic moments. I love those guys too. So, to sum me up, I guess you could say that I'm a preppy nerd. Which makes no sense, but thats what I am!! How about all of you guys?

Weeell... If you go by my clothes, I'm apparently a Goth. Yes, you can see how much I go with that idea. I prefer to stick myself as a theatre person, as I have many close friends in theatre.

If you go by what I wear and who I hang out with, I'm a tomboy. About half of my wardrobe comes from the boys section in stores (I LOVE the zip off cargo pants that you can make into shorts). I also hang out with the boys at school a lot, mainly because the girls talk about fashion and shopping, which I cannot stand at all. I'm starting to hang out with the girls more now, because the boys are all into Yugioh, which might possibly be one of the absolute stupidest things on the planet. Their whole lives revolve around it. One of them wants to make a living off of winning tournaments when he grows up, and he's one of the smartest kids in the class! It's absolutely stupid. However, if you go by my intrests, I'm a nerd. I spend a lot of time on the computer writing and drawing, and I'm really good at schoolwork and stuff. Okay, enough talking.

I'm the person that'll give you the wierd feeling. The person you just don't like by instinct. The person that you just know can cause you trouble if you get on his bad side. That's me.
As for the one person I hang out with, I have no clue. He's a category of his own.

Ha, my wardrobe is neither one nor the other. I mix and match a lot, so it never fits. However... school-wise, I'm probably a nerd. An arty nerd ^^ Or a book-geek, or a Walking Encyclopedia-type nerd, or That Weird Quiet Girl. Whatever category that doesn't belong to the cool sector of the student body and falls short of being into hacking computers and dissecting frogs in the Biology lab.
I hang out with an assortment of nerds, and other people who just don't fit. You know when all the non-labelled people group together under one banner because they have no actual groups to fit into? That's us ;D Wheeeeee, I'm an Outsider! Yeah, I'm kind of a loner as well, but I just enjoy solitude.

I'm kind of a misfit, I guess. I changed schools halfway through this year, so I don't really know people at my new school, and at my old school I simly didn't mesh with all of them. (obsessive I.B. nerds, all of them.)
At my new school, everyone is obsessed with labels, and so I tend to not.. match. Billabong isn't exactly my style. I dress sort of like a hobo, and I'm a fan of costume jewelry and cardigans. I don't care for skater shoes. And I listen to NONE of the same music as them. I talk to all of them, most are nice, they just make me unhappy. I'm a difficult person.
As for my actual friends, none of which go to school with me.. we're just kind of eccentric. It works.

Save those descriptions for rpg fantasys. as for ..the topic..my schools an art school, sortof alternative and our cliques arent the typical cliques. Also Id have to say I dont fit in at my school, which, in my 'clique' is a decidedly good thing. Um theres really no word for us..youve got two quiet white girls( me n michelle) and a bunch of angry black and cambodian girls ( not ghetto fabulous though. they just didnt get enough love in their childhoods ) so uh...which clique is that one again..?

I don't belong to a clique... ;_;
It's really upsetting, I'm pretty much afraid/paranoid of people, and I hate it when I see big groups of people walking together.

If you went by the way I dress, I'd be kinda Prunk (prep/punk).
In reality, I am a hard core bando!!! I live and breathe band. I stopped living breathing and eating band, cuz saxes aren't too tasty. *ahem*
I've also been called a walking dictionary and spawn of Satan.. and of course, I've been called Satan. And evil incarnate. But what ever.

I'm not sure where I fit in, uhm... depends on my mood. Goth to artsy I guess, but I usually just go for comfort these days. I hang out with a variety of being, I'm not in highschool anymore, I know preps, goths, wispy art girls and even a pro wrestler type

We're seen as either artsy or wierd. We don't care what people think and laugh about alot of stuff because of that and we're seen as immature. Then,we get teh only 'A' in the class and we're seen as smart. We don't fall into groups. O.o; It's...odd. I don't really want to say normal, because we're far from it. XD Wierd.

Well, where I go to school we don't have many cliques or groups. It's because we have a school uniform, but people still fit into groups- they're just not as obvious. We have preppy girls, we just call them the popular kids despide them being no more popular than most other groups, they just think they're popular. Then there's goths, an incredably small group of about 3/300 in my grade. There's also surfies, asians and middle eastern groups. Everyone else, like three quarters of the grade is just other. I'm an other, we wear what ever we like- can be labels if you want, any intelligence level and may have artsy tendancies.
I don't know if you all understand what I'm talking about, but we really don't have catagories at all, so most people don't fit into them. You're normally labelled by your personality or other main features.
It just goes to show that uniforms remove individualism but you'll find that nearly all students (at my school at least) like uniforms because they don't need to worry about how they look so therefor don't have to fit into a group. People don't see each other that much outside of school and you just wear what you like so no groups outside of school either. How strange.

There're uniforms at my school (but my school is probably the most casual uniform school anyone could wish for). The groups are, basically, the clever kids, the preppy girls, and the jocks. I fall into the formar group, being the local valedictorian. At first glance (out of school), people would think that I'm goth. But, the more they get to know me, the more un-goth I seem to them.

Heh, I fall into the anti-clique, which contains all of four people, five if you count the school pyro. We're the nerds, the ones whose lives don't revolve around chasing a ball around all day or studying to get perfect scores on every test, we spend our time learning strange stuff, or on computers, were also the only people who watch anime To be candid, pretty much everyone in my grade thinks I'm some kind of psycho loner, oh, and a "bad person" because I don't believe in god, So, yeah, I belong to a group of people who don't fit the ridiculous preppy-and-no-life-except-sports, mentality of the school.
