She may not have read the books, but oh well.
As for Harry's animagus form/daemon? I say his would most DEFINATELY be a phoenix. ;D Think about it! 'Ave a list....
-Fabulous; greatly respected; seen as a class above; untouchable; extraordinary
-Respectful of those who've helped you in the past
-Some accounts of things you have done are quite incredible
-Even when bitter, you're still attractive to everyone
-Capable of "renewing" or changing yourself as you see fit; you define yourself, and are not influenced a great deal by others; born from your own being
-Stray from the ordinary; have unique tastes
-Have a captivating aura; known to be adored from a distance
-Willing to suffer for the sake of others, especially if they seem too weak to help themselves
-Easy to describe in brief detail, but difficulties tend to arise when people really try to understand your personality
-Tend to shine with a bright, cheery air; optimistic
-People are very empathetic with you, and some are so overcome by your sadness that they too seem to grieve
-You can't stand feeling that someone is like you; "only one phoenix can live at a time"
-Have the ability to cheer up the most gloomy of souls
-Your fiery passion often works to your advantage -- it's very much part of who you are; you're inspired by things of passion
-Even if consumed with anger (you burn fiercely), people know that you will lift your mood up again -- often the next day you are energetic and faultless; after such fits of rage you sometimes see the need to make drastic changes in yourself
-Want to enjoy eternal youth; believe in life after death, immortality, or resurrection
-Perform extraordinary works; help your fellow man
-You have a multitude of companions who marvel at your novelty
-People stop to listen to you; able to grab most anyone's attention
-Have achieved a unique status
-Refrain from bothering those already overburdened
-Can sense when you're about to reach a personal slump
I know he doesn't have an animagus form, but I figured I'd use this conversation to point out how eerie it relates to him.

I was thinking phoenix for Albus...but Harry would work to. I think that would be very touching, for them to have the same daemon form.

Cor! That is so Harry. I'd have thought he was a lion, but hadn't really put much thought into it anyway.

SNL, I knew Harry was a bird but I never thought about a phoenix. I want to figure out Ron and Hermione's daemons next. We know Hermionies patronus is an otter, and I think JK Rowling said in an interveiw or something that their patronus kind of fits them. I have no clue where to start for Ron.

Whoa, that's really weird, (about the phoenix thing), cuz you know, with the Order of the Pheonix and everything. But I suck at figuring out dæmons, I have trouble anaylyzing the analysi (heh) for myself, much less other people, much less people that don't exsist. @_@

Fictional people are often easier to daemonize than real people.

Oh,wow! A phoenix does fit both of them! I bet they have the same and when Harry grows up he'll take on Albus's mantle. :-D How touching. Anyways....I think Ron would be a spider...*snickers* I'm just kidding. I really don't know either...O_0 where would you start? Main characters are easier than co-stars. =_=

Co-star? I object! J/k. I always think of him as having a dog personality, but I don't know which kind. But I suppose it IS harder since the entire series is through Harry's eyes and he doesn't give us a completely accurate, objective lay-out of other people. The phoenix thing actually fits quite creepily o.O

Oops, my bad For Dumbledore mainly, although there are a lot of points which I do think fit Harry as well. Since Dumledore's always been a bit remote and revered, I tend to think of him as more of a 'phoenix' than Harry, who comes across as very human. Well he should do, seeing as he's the focus of the entire story and you kind of see through his eyes for a lot of the time, but... yeah. I'll stop talking now o.O
