My name, in Latin, means smart, clever, witty, and she feels she's none of these things, so she doesn't feel 'right' with my name as it. I think it's ridiculous. I am Captiosus. I might not be smart, clever or witty but I am Captiosus. I don't know if another name would be right. Wei probably wouldn't be able to find another name.

I think that if she wants to change your name, you should both agree on it. However, I changed my name. ;D I'm still always called Nemith or Nymmi though. Never referred to as AnpuNumen...*shrug*

Nicknames are good. My name was decided on a whim actually. (I still think it sounds female.. -_-)

Somehow, my name just fell into our laps, so to speak. It hit both of us at the same time... and stuck like bad wallpaper. I think Captiosus is a bit of a mouthful, but then, so is Alatariel or Kryillian. I agree... it has to be something you both agree on, but look. If Cap is your name, then you'll see it in the end. Then again, maybe you'll stumble on something and say "God! This is it!" So it can't HURT to look.
And Alatariel is a very good name, my dear. But the same thing as I said above... can't hurt to look. Though it might hurt me...

Yes we had that too. Zoe didn'tlike my name, though she was the one who chose it and for ages she tried to find my true name. But this is it. Calosta. It's spanish I think but I'm still unsure about what it means. I'll go nag her to do some research now

Well, for me my name was decided in the first few days...me and Melannen would be sitting in the train station or at school or wheverever, and she would suggest a name, and I would say, "No, too rounded," or "It sounds like a girl's name". Eventually we discovered Morlani, and it just seemed right.

i dont think daemons should have just one name, or people either. you change so much, all the time...i think names should reflect who you feel like at the time. ohggies name is russian, its actually my favourite thing to say in russian it really rolls of my tongue. its ogromnaya zzmyehyha. i later learnt it meant ' enormous snake'

Toni started off calling me Dee, as a temporary name (short for "dæmon", because we pronounce is as "demon"), but then she decided on the name "Rin" for a while. I pointed out to her that I thought it sounded a little too girly (though it might not to any of you), and that I didn't think it fitted well enough. Then one evening, when we were just mucking about on the computer, the name "Rinto" just kindof appeared. I like it. ;D

The first five days that Aries had given me a name were pretty bad. She kept on trying to change my name because she thought that she hadn't put enough thought into it. (She randomly was naming things that popped into her head after an hour of me rejecting names that I didn't like. I was eventually named after an Alexisonfire song. And yes, she's impatient.) But I kept on rejecting every time she offered to change my name. And she's mostly left me alone now. For now. ;P
