Just a crazy idea I had to keep me sane while I mourn the other forum. Basically, pick people here and think of a song that reminds you of them. Link to the lyrics or the song (on Youtube or something.) First off, the ever-lovable emily! Black Horse and a Cherry TreeEvery time I hear this on the radio, I think of emily. I'm not really sure why. ^^; Mai! I Like To Move ItOne word: Madagascar

Dude, sweet! I've heard that song, I'm pretty sure, I remember it being toe-tappingly enjoyable. (: Hmmm. I need to think about these, I don't have any off the top of my head (except maybe ghost and a few xiu xiu songs I like). Sorry that you probably haven't heard these, but I don't really know things that are on the radio and things. ): Hailey - 'fell down the stairs' by tilly and the wall. Because it has handclaps and tapdance for percussion. And uh, that just reminds me of you. Shush. Spiral - 'by balloon or sinking ship' by jordan o'jordan. Because it is a very nice light-hearted song, and maybe a little whimsical. I hope I don't sound creepy by posting a blatant love song, it's just his voice and banjo say 'Spiral' to me, is all! Mairead - 'so begins our alabee' by of montreal. I don't know what you'd think if I made you actually listen to this, but it actually really does remind me of you. Also, space pirates. Make what you will of that! Ally - 'tiny cities made of ashes' by modest mouse, because it is half-groovy and fun and half a little unnerving (and I mean that in a really nice way, just so you know!) Li - 'painter in your pocket' by destroyer just does, because you seem clever and arty and so does destroyer. And I think of you as a painter. And it says painter in the title. It makes sense to me okay! ...okay, I suck at this, I give up. But I stand by my choices.

Okay. >.> I'll give this a go.
Emily: White and Nerdy by Weird Al. XD No idea why, it just...happened.
Brooke and Leah: Chow Down from the broadway version of The Lion King. XD It fits, perfectly
Mai: What Shall We Do With a Drunken Sailor. I don't really think I need an explanation...
Aaaaand more when it isn't midnight. >.>

Rather an ironic song to describe me XD "I know about you," I normally go to many lengths not to be 'known about', hahaha. *shrug* creepy comes with those fangs- which I'm thoroughly used to, thus little you tend to do creeps me. ;.; I'm not very good at this kind of thing.. I suppose Bye Bye Bye by Miyavi makes me think of Hailey. For a rather illogical reasoning. "bye bye"= a line said in Bleach by Ichigmaru Gin = the white Loki in SGVY = your Loki. Rather a round-about connection ^.^;; The opening of Honey & Clover II is very emily. It's Fugainaiya by Yuki- and it makes me think of emily because of it's really nutty accompanying clip. I've got it on my computer but I don't know where to upload it -.- This site has some screenshots. *sigh* This makes it sound like I only listen to Japanese music- which I don't. It's just any music I listen to on the radio I rarely listen for the name and I can't think of any others at the moment. Although I do think of emily when I listen to Architecture in Helsinki but that's more because I know you like it too :3

I have some :3
Ali -- "Glory Days", Bruce Springsteen YOU BROUGHT THAT UPON YOURSELF... By being an uber-vet xD;; Sorry.
Spiral -- "She's Moving In", the Whitlams I clearly view you as a weird, quirky Australian (song). Be... impressed? Flattered? xD;; It's more the music than the lyrics. <3 I also relate "Wild Child" by Enya to you, Spiral. *bows down to the one of ubersong remindingness*
Ally -- "Common People", Pulp Just... wtf? I mean... wtf? xDDD;;;; Noooo idea.
Hailey -- "All Around Me", Savage Garden *beats nonsensical feelings viciously* Once again... I don't know. xD;;
Mair -- "Creepin' Up On You", Darren Hayes That's it. I turned this song on and instantly thought, "MAIR". No more associating with you, Mair. Do you know what I call this song? I call it THAT CREEPYSTALKERSONG! xDDDD;; Seriously... disturbing.
emily -- "You Sound Like Lois Burdett", the Whitlams What can I say? It's interesting that that sprung to mind. Also "People Are Strange", by Echo & The Bunnymen :3
Toni -- "Crash and Burn", Savage Garden That's a private thing -- I managed to teach myself to think of Toni whenever I hear that song. Inexplicably. xD;; "I Hope You Dance" (Ronan Keating) and "Here I Am" (Bryan Adams) also come to mind.
AS A RANDOM BONUS :3 ME <3 -- "Pop!ular", Darren Hayes *laughs inanely* ...Also "Melbourne" (the Whitlams) and, more obscurely, "Drops of Jupiter" (Train).
Kjall -- "Spin", Darren Hayes The name "Mew" actually relates to music -- and so does "Spin". I imagine it as Mew singing it to me. Also "Breathing You In" (the Whitlams) and "Gone Surfing" (also the Whitlams).
Hooray :3

Toni -- "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go", Wham! This song is so uppity and happy its hilarious. Your'e an uppity happy person, so it just fits. Emily -- "My Doorbell", The White Stripes. Its a grungy, strange, yet upbeat song. Plus its just too cool for anything...yeah. Brooke -- Peter Gunn. Just.....the coolest song ever. Period. I can hear it everytime I see you eat a n00b....... Mair -- "Stir It Up", Bob Marley. You seem like a reggae person. I'm not sure why. Must be the whole 'lemurs use recreational drugs!' thing....maybe. Probably not. But any smooth island tunes just remind me of ya. Hah. Spiral -- "Brain Damage", Pink Floyd. OK, I'm totally NOT implying that you have brain damage...its a cool sounding song. Really otherworldly and flowing....it fits, trust me. Plus I'm sure you think a bunch of us actually have Brain Damage. Aaron -- "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?", The Beatles. Ahahaha. Its the sexpert thing, I can't let it go. XD Bluesy cool song, I think you'd appreciate it. Jory -- "I Am The Walrus", The Beatles. This is what you get for giving me a geezer song. ;P JK, of course.....its just silly random lyrics that make no sense. But its still awesome. You make sense, of course....but yeah. Goo goo g'joob! Ghost -- "Ride The Pony", Bumblebeez 87. Weirdest. Song. Weirdest Beat. Y'know something's wrong with the song....but you don't know what. Ergo, 'tis you. Cat -- "Dimension", Wolfmother. DAMN this song is cool. Just like us ubervets. *cheesey moment high-five*

Li - 'painter in your pocket' by destroyer just does, because you seem clever and arty and so does destroyer. And I think of you as a painter. And it says painter in the title. It makes sense to me okay! I haven't any idea what that sounds like and can't find out at the moment. xD But awesome. I'm amused by the title... makes me think of like, a miniature of me you put in your pocket.

It sounds like this guy, only doing a different song. If that helps! Probably not so much. Oh well. Also - I pretty much love all the songs you chose for me. I get to be that doorbell song? And video killed the radio star? AND AT THE ZOO? SICK. I haven't heard the other ones, but I'll for sure check them out as soon as I get a chance. (: And Spi - those pictures are terrifying and the best thing ever, simultaneously. I really want to watch that now.
