Hm. About death. Don't worry TU. Instinct will rule over impulse.
Anywho, I also have that weird...view on life. It's soooo hard to explain. But sometimes, if I imagine being someone else, I think I'll become them. Go inside their body and live their life. At times it seems impossible that I don't know everything. It doesn't seem right that I don't know exactly what every person's life is like. I don't know. It's weird. And sometimes, I feel like I'm not really an actual entity...Or something. Like right now, I might not be the same person that was born into my body. Like, other consiousneses have come into my body and the original one has left, but they have no effect and no memory because they don't have a brain. They are me because they can only see my memories. But I know that Rho would not be the same if other minds and souls were put into my body. At times I feel vacant. Like...I have no understanding of the human language, but my consiousness has access to memories that don't feel like mine. Someone will say something to me, and I'll answer in the way that I remember I previously did. It's really hard to explain. I assume that it's hard to understand because I don't fully understand it. My brain hurts. =( *rubs temples*

Wow, there's a lot more people than I thought that understand me.;D I also go through these periods, like the beginning of this year, where I thought that none of this is real. Not like the matrix, more like: the only thing that's real is NOW, any memories are fake, and the memory of thinking that is fake too. But I started freaking myself out, so I stopped. I used to try to have these conversations with one of my old friends, but she'd always cut it short by saying, "If you think about these things too much, you'll go crazy"

my head hurts now.
It's like contemplating the existance of the universe.
"Why are things here? Why must there be something? Why not nothing?"

That's one problem with philosophy-- it's pretty hard to really disprove the most akward musings... like the Fiveminute Hypothesis: Everything was created five minutes ago, and any memories from earlier are manufactured and fake. How do you disprove it? You can't.
So, you decide it is easier or better to believe otherwise, and nothing is compelling to not do so, so you're good. You may be wrong, but does it really matter?
And if there are no organs 't all... how do we know if our dæmon is male or female?

Hmm... that's a good question. I guess it's one of the things you just know.

My head hurts. I like these musings but they can be a bit mind-boggling. Just like wondering the meaning of life. No one's ever going to know, no matter how much you ponder.

Oh, I know the meaning of life.
The meaning of life is life itself. Life is lived to create life. Understand?

But from whence does such meaning come? Is that the sole purpose, or is the creation itself a part of something even grander? What?
;D
Philosophy is fun. You just can't try and believe everything. Play around with knowledge, like Xeno. Or Aristotle, Socrates, Plato, Diogenes, or any other truly great philosopher. It's well worth it.

Definately not daily. I update that quote about once every two weeks. Plus, it's not always quoted from Virgil. Sometimes it's quoted from others. It's supposed to give meaning to people. One of my favorites was:
"Aequam memento rebus in arduis servare mentem." Remember to keep your mind even when life's path is steep. ~Horace
Anywho, philosophy is fun when you're in the mood to be philosophical. As I am now.

Well, Virgil is one of the more well known, and his quotes are some of the best, so I may have used quite a few of them. I know my last one was quoted from him.

Last two, at least. It changed last night, I do believe.
Back to musings, perhaps... Dæmons. Wether souls, consciences, spirits, or something else entirly... where did they come from? Why do they exist? How do they exist? What, exactly, are they?
