The only people who could understand are those who have formed the bond with their dæmons. It's not something that can be easily explained. You just know it, feel it. You don't need to have them foremost in your life, but if you have that bond, they are about as close to you as anything can get.

Why must one talk to their daemon all the time, to make them foremost in their lives? People who are comfortable with the daemons don't need them around all the time. Like in HDM. People aren't always, constantly doting over their daemons. I don't talk to my daemon all the time, but he is always there. Projecting him isn't a chore likeit used to be. I don't need him around all the time,he just always IS around.

No not speaking to them 24/7 but not just picking them up whenever we want and realising their importance.

I'm important, dammit,so you'd best keep on talkin' to me! I don't care if they send you to a crazy place! No anti-hallucination drugs are keeping me away!!

I've not seen that in forever (and whenever I say "forever" I think of the movie Sandlot... FOR--EV--ER!!!).
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeah. There is also one with Whoopi Goldburg where the imaginary friend is an Angel, and I can't remember the name, but it's good. ^^

Yeah, the one movie's Drop Dead Fred. I can't remember what the one with Whoopi in it is called, but the little boy has this massive Frenchman as his invisible friend. Same guy from My Father, The Hero. Love the big french guy <3
EDIT: Aha! The movie's called Bogus. *l337* (not really l337, but that's the movie)

Hmm, this is a rather interesting debate, and one which there seem to be no concrete sides, as everyone has their own set of beleifs, although some do bear similarities to one another. I guess in a way I rarely project Dal, mostly shes just there, hanging in the back of my mind, and we talk when we want to, no continuos stream of chatter, but not only talking when theres trouble. When I said that I rarely project her, what I meant was I don't look over, and visualize her with all my might, I just acknowledge her prescence, and shes there, just sort of wispily in my mind. (Excuse me if this post doesnt make much sense, Its late where I am.
