Hey guys! It's Cal's 2nd cieday tomorrow and I want to do something special to celebrate but I don't know what. What do you guys usually do for your ciedays? Thanks!

Yeah, we really didn't do anything on our cieday, but that's 'cause it was the second day of school. >< I made it up to him though by having all my English writing assignments be about him. My teacher probably thinks I'm nuts. XD Though she does say that Sinead is an excellent writer. I personally think it's the subject matter.

Wewt, happy cieday (upon its arrival). Lessee, we made a scrapbook, which I really need to update, and I let him choose little things - like what to eat for breakfast, etc. And I made sure to invision and talk to him as much as possible. Just little things.

Happy CIEday Maybe just take of school and spend the whole day with your daemon. Thats what I'm planning to do again, since the first day I came to know Mashu I was suspended and spent the whole day finding out as much as I could about him.

I would say this would be a good reason to indulge yourselves in the simple pleasures of life... ... Like cake. But it's really the thought that counts, so I'd just make the day extra special. I'd take the suggestions of many people in this thread! They've got some good ideas (like Sinead writing all her papers about Jax and Winger's scrapbook). Personally, I say bake something (and give me some). ;}

THAT IS SO COOL MAIREAD. I wish they did that around here. They really, really don't. ):
Hmm. On our first cieday I kind of wrote letters and poems and drew pictures and things, kind of a 'first year of us' retrospective, and stuffed it in an envelope and stuffed that... somewhere. I guess it was sort of like Winger's scrapbook thing, I guess, except too jumbled up for anyone except us to understand and not ongoing.
This year, we'll probably do another, and see - I've got this piece of twine tied around my wrist because.. well, I tied some string around my wrist and expected it to come off on its own. And it didn't, and that was like, five months ago. And so I'll probably replace it on his cieday, and on each one after that. Because twine makes me think of him, and it's a very subtle representation of him, but it'll remind me not to forget him.
But that's us! I reccomend cake, also.

It'd be kinda funny to watch a reenactment of Pike finding the Rocky Mountains... but that would take too long. A lot of, "Woah, mountains. -hours pass- How come I haven't reached the mountains yet?" All the cool battle-y reenactment stuff happens on the East Coast.
As for ciedays, no idea. We haven't even hit the first yet, really and we're not even so good at birthday celebrations.

I've...never really done anything special on my cieday (considering it's christmas so we're already doing something special...because it's christmas). I really should do something this year though. There's a good chance I'll be in Hawaii for Christmas because our football team is most likely going to a bowl game. Which means the band gets to go too. Plus...this will be like our 10th cieday...
But cake, I think that's a good idea. Or some other treat that you consider special. Scrapbooking sounds good too.

We don’t do anything for our ciedays. Hell, we don’t even know what season our cieday is in. =) It’s either autumn or spring, and we prefer autumn. Keeping track of time isn’t important. I don’t know what grade I was in. It was 7th or 8th. So whenever anyone asks me how long we’ve been together, I have to think back. It’s either 4 or 5 years. And that’s just since I discovered TDP, since I hate it when people go on and on about how they knew their daimon before and everything. That’s great, but it’s just sort of egotistitcal. You may have thought about one or how cool it would be to have one, but to say you have what we –know- a daimon is. I know I had a totem beforehand, but that’s different, yet it was still Nymm. But that’s getting off-topic.

I hope you don't think I'm being egotistical Brooke . I have known Jade since I was ten(as some sort of entity living inside my stuffed animal), but I didn't figure out he was actually my daemon until I read the books a couple years later. @mai: That sounds so freakin' cool Mai. If I ever come visit you, you have to show me the re-enactment.
