Okay, because the poll is not letting me type enough, here are the options-
ONE - Haven't told anyone about daemons. You've never spoken to anyone about your damon or the concept of them.
TWO - You've talked about concept of them, but never spoken of yours. (IE: 'You know the His Dark Materials' trilogy? What did you think of daemons? I found this cool site...)
THREE - Self explanitory. Loud and proud.
FOUR - Your family and maybe your close friends know, but that's it.
Five: Well, there has to be SOMETHING else someone can do, right?

I choose option two. I've shown this site to about six people, including my little sister. I don't know if they have daemons, I've never asked. And they've never asked about Zed.

Not surprisingly, I've told the majority of my friends about dæmons, and/or given them my site's URL. More know that I personally know my dæmon than don't.. I can be tentative about the subject, but I usually let them know it's a great way to discover who you really are, and knowing Rookie has only improved my life. When I speak to him, I'm conversing directly with my conscience and soul... my true core.

Combonation of 1 and 2. I hadn't talked to anyone about TRUE daemons much, except for last night when I started chatting to a good friend about the concept of daemons and mentioned Philip Pullman's stuffs (she hadn't read the books, but thought the idea of daemons was really interesting) so I got her reading the book over the holiday break. And then hopefully she'll start talking about how awesome it would be if she had a daemon and then I'll say "ohhh you knowww........". Its the perfect plan. But I'd say more of a don't-ask don't-tell for me. (the two of us were chatting about if our friends were animals what would they be, so it gradually went from there). Just to add, I wouldn't exactly call believing in daemons a 'faith'.....more of a psychotic cult J/K. Its more of a personal belief. ;D

It's a combo of 2 and 3 for me. I mostly just talk about the concept (not that it gets me far, honestly the people I know are just so...regular...if it's not tangible, it's not real) but I've told more to my mum...she knows I have a bobcat daemon, but I never said I talk to him (though I'm pretty sure she knows).

Well, yes. I thought you meant faith as in 'religion'. I take meanings differently than most people.

Some of my friends know that I talk to Soda, and some of my family know too. Usually I keep away from the daemonish subjects because I'm not the best person to explain them. I prefer not to scare them off before they even get a good understanding about daemons.

I think I'd have a nervous fit if any of my family found out about Panaka. Not that I don't love them - of course I do, but I tend to be obssessively private about things that are important to me, and of course Nax is THE most important thing. Anyway, that's just me.
But if somebody starts off a conversation about HDM or anything remotely involving dæmons, I'll chat happily for hours!

Though I voted 1, I just now realized I have told someone. I don't remember his name, and now he has moved away...
Also, I mentioned it on a message board. Ditto went to TDP and then Ditto found his dæmon...

I've told my bestest friend in the whole world! He knows I talk to Sy, and he says that he's actually seen her, and I believe him! He's found a name, but I don't think he's seen his own dæmon yet.
Actually, he's one of the only two true friends I have.
The other moved away so long ago... Years and years ago... possibly 10 years ago...
I have 5 other 'talking friends', though. (A 'talking friend' is just someone you talk to often, but wouldn't really call a friend.)
But, I'm babbling...

I've told a handful of people that I trust - I told my mother and she's really great about it. Of course, my younger sister who talks to her daemon, Que. My life-long friend, two close friends and a few online buddies too. I was really hesitant at first but it seems as though people are almost...re-learning something they'd learnt long ago and forgotten.

To Hannah: Yes, you're my friends too.
Second-Bestest internet friends, actually. The first bestest is a girl who is exactly like me. She talks like me, has the same sense of humor, has the same train of thought. We both even came up with the same name for the same thing that we both made up right out of our heads without consulting each other. (we fabricated it out of nothing.) It's the wierdest thing ever.
To stay on topic: I told my mom, too. I had my dad look at the red fox analysis without telling him what it was for, and he said that it mostly fits him! I was right!
