For the record, I said 'no' but in one sense, it does-
See, I was listening to an Afro Celts song, "Amber," and the celtic word for heart Chroi (with a deely over the 'i' my computer won't make), is pronounced the same way as her nickname, Kryii.
I literally fell off my chair.

It should be Walter, yeah. >< But Watson sounds cooler. Although it would translate to 'son of son of Walter' which wouldn't made any sense... because really, two son of's? O.O ...::shuts up::

son of, son of Walter = Grandson of Walter, perfectly logical in my terms And here I was thinking my dæmon didn't have a brain because he isn't physical....

Does anyone know if the name 'Bayloch' has any meaning? I woke up in the middle of the night with it ringing in my ears. Now Rho has adopted it as a second name. Rhokath Bayloch. o.o

Hmm. I added something on to Falel's name, too, after reading an Edgar Allan Poe poem.... but I won't say here, I'm keeping it a secret for now. ^^

I always carry a copy of Ulalume with me (it inspired Phillip Pullman, and Psyche is an awful lot like his daemon.) Also, my alternate self is named Psyche from it. ^^

Yeah, Poe rocks my socks. 'Annabel Lee' is my favorite, even though it never fails to make me cry... 'The Raven' comes in at a close second, and 'Ulalume' is probably third. ^^

It has a real song-like quality to it. So does Annabel Lee. ^^ I have to say, though, that if my 's0xx0rz' were to be '|20xX0rZ'-ing, it would be by Tennyson. ^_^

I've always thought someone should write a tune for Annabel Lee. ^^ Ooh, Tennyson. He's pretty cool. Do you like Emily Dickinson?

'I'm Nobody--Who are you?' is a great one. ^^ I've only read what I've been able to find, though.

The story behind Kili's name is very odd. Basically, I was writing a story and making up a little language to go with it, so the characters names could be words from that language and mean something. In that language, Kili meant "Good Friend". After I read HDM, I started thinking about what my daemon's name would be, and "Kili" just popped into my head, and seemed right. The language (and story) were scrapped later, but Kili still means something, at least to me.
